Mu-sings – the incoherent ramblings of mriordan

I have a few problems with my blogging:
1. Time – do I have time to blog, and does anyone care?
2. Would I want to use Xanga? My biggest gripe against Xanga is that
you have to be a member of Xanga to comment on posts. James’ blog at
typepad is open to anyone to comment quickly and easily.

I am open to visting you at typepad, especially if that means you aren’t going to block it from CVCA. Anyway you can block xanga except for my xanga? That would be ideal.

I love Craig’s assumption that HIS Xanga is superior to everyone else’s and worth unblocking. I have never heard of typepad, but if you tell me where it is, I will visit you there.

I’d like to say my social life is lagging, but I have TWO plans for New Year’s tonight. Out to dinner first, and then to a teacher party. However, I do miss you guys and was sorry I couldn’t spend more time with you. I am coming home for Spring break, so perhaps then. =)

I’d also like to tell you that I miss Ohio tremendously, but I really can’t. We had rain today that blew sideways, and parts of Cali are coping with flooding, but my neck of the woods was simply gorgeous after the rain stopped–big bunchy clouds, brilliant sun, and rain-washed scents in the air. Plus, it’s already greening up around here. Hard to believe, really, but I rubbed my eyes a few times and it’s true.

Talk to you later. Happy New Year!! –JRC

you’re not on a soapbox. i appreciate hearing it. i think half my trouble is that i read books like that and then feel convicted about not getting involved on some voluntary basis around here. doing what, i don’t know. with what energy?–i’d have to steal some from someone. it just seems like my life is fairly comfortable while others suffer. should not have read that book. was in a funk all last night and this morning. oh well. good mindset to go back to school with. haha. hope all is well. will try to catch up via phone this weekend. –julie

i can’t run for time. have never been good at that. keep looking at my watch. keep wishing time to go faster. distance is so much better for me. then when it’s done, it’s done. i have noticed, too, i tend to prefer sports with a scoring goal as opposed to a time goal. ie) volleyball vs. basketball. once you reach your point totals–15 minutes or 4 hours later–you’re done. basketball, though . . . ugh. are you still running?? i am fairly certain i did 6. and yes, i have been amazed at how fast i seem to be running over those distances. it’s like something just recently clicked. we’ll see if maybe it’s just a good week. some are better than others, you know. i am taking today off to let my legs recoop, though the thing i like about running is that, after a point, you get addicted to it and can’t settle into any activities b/c your body is begging you to take it out for a spin. so . . . hope all is well on your end. –J

Would you PULEASE post something else on here!!!! Glad you liked the Hallmark rant. Every time I go in that store . . . I know I owe you guys a phone call. Have been sick and busy. Sucks. Will try to catch up before I travel next week, but if I don’t manage to do that, I will give a ring after I get back. Hope you all are well!! –JC

Man, Julie just can’t stop commenting on your one lousy blog entry. She is so-o-o-o three-hours-behind the times! And why does she keep running? Men like chasing slow things that they can actually catch, or least hope that they can.
